Review

Element Browser is a free, light and easy-to-use browser, especially designed for surfing the Web and performing all the tasks related to it more easily than ever before. It implements a lot of novel features and an enhanced security model, though simplicity is one of its more important characteristics.

This versatile browser is based on a very friendly and intuitive interface. It introduces the "shelf navigation", which is an alternative method for managing several open web sites simultaneously, where you can even see all of those active pages as thumbnails. It also has specific functions designed to help you keep in touch with your friends and relatives much more easily. Thus, its built-in panel allows you to quickly connect to Instant Messaging services and virtual Social Networks. Besides, there is also the so-called "Web Applications Dock", which provides you with shortcuts to the most popular web sites. In addition, when you initially open it, you will be presented with the "Hub" - a special page showing you links to your favorite and/or recently open sites, including their corresponding thumbnails.

This impressive browser is fully configurable. It is compatible with all the most popular Windows versions: XP, Vista and Seven, and requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 as a prerequisite.

Just to let viewers know that we recently released a tool, which allows Element Browser 2.0.12 to render webpages using OpenGL : http://www.elementsoftware.co.uk/dev/testpad/openglwebtest.html
This greatly improves drawing speed of webpages onto your output device since it uses your graphics card, not CPU.
